Traveling by rugged 4WD Jeep, you will navigate up to a high-altitude viewpoint just in time to watch the sun rise over the sweeping Tengger Caldera. After the sunrise, your Jeep will descend into the vast Sea of Sand, allowing you to cross the ash-covered landscape and climb the steps directly to the rim of Bromo's active, smoking crater.
