Embark on a thrilling 3-day quest through East Java's wild wonders - from plunging into Tumpak Sewu’s mist, chasing sunrise atop Mount Bromo, to midnight hikes for Ijen’s blue fire - before landing on Bali’s legendary shores.

Maximize your time in Indonesia with this action-packed 3-Day, 2-Night (3D2N) expedition. Designed for travelers eager to conquer East Java's top three natural wonders before unwinding on the Island of the Gods, this route offers a perfectly paced, seamless overland journey from Surabaya or Malang straight through to Bali.

Your adventure begins with a morning pickup in Surabaya or Malang, heading straight into the lush highlands. Your first destination is the breathtaking Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, often hailed as the "Niagara of Indonesia." Trek down into a deep green ravine, crossing bamboo bridges and small streams, to stand at the valley floor and feel the raw power of this massive, multi-tiered cascade. Afterward, relax as we drive you to your accommodation near Mount Bromo for a well-earned rest.

Wake up before dawn for the iconic Mount Bromo sunrise. Traveling by 4WD Jeep under the stars, you will reach a high-altitude viewpoint just in time to watch the first light illuminate the sweeping Tengger Caldera. After sunrise, your Jeep will navigate the vast, ash-covered Sea of Sand before you climb the stairs to the rim of Bromo's active, smoking crater. Once the morning wraps up, enjoy a scenic eastward drive to the Banyuwangi or Bondowoso area to recharge for your final trek.

The spectacular finale begins with a midnight trek at Mount Ijen. Hike up the volcano under a starlit sky to witness the highly rare Ijen Blue Fire—ignited sulfuric gas burning brilliantly in the dark. As dawn breaks, the landscape reveals the world's largest highly acidic crater lake, its vibrant turquoise waters contrasting beautifully with the bright yellow sulfur rocks.

After descending the volcano and catching your breath, the Kymawari Alam Journey team will transfer you to the Ketapang ferry port. Cross the Bali Strait and relax as we drive you to your final drop-off point in Bali (Ubud, Sanur, Kuta, Canggu, or Denpasar), concluding an unforgettable cross-island expedition.
